Pixotope Powers Spain's Most Advanced Virtual Production Studio

Last week, Spain has taken a quantum leap in virtual production with the launch of Coruña Estudio Inmersivo (CEI), a state-of-the-art facility set to redefine content creation in Europe. 

A Game-Changer for Virtual Production in Europe  

Located in A Coruña, in northwestern Spain, CEI boasts a giant 28x6 meter LED wall, paired with a 100-square-meter LED ceiling and two 20-square-meter LED totems. 

This innovative setup places CEI among the most ambitious and technically advanced virtual production environments in Europe: all housed at an even more impressive 2,539-square-meter site.

A Technological Powerhouse: Behind the Scenes at CEI 

CEI’s capabilities are built on a foundation of carefully selected, high-performance technology, such as ARRI Alexa cameras, Canon lenses, Novastar MX processors for video processing and signal management, and over 1,000 Alfalite VP XR LED panels, known for their color accuracy, high refresh rates, and narrow pixel pitch.

Together with our partner Tangram Solutions, we've integrated multiple flagship solutions including Pixotope XR Edition for LED volume control, Vision for precise camera tracking, and Graphics Edition for advanced AR and virtual studio production. This isn't just about individual features - it's about how these technologies work together seamlessly to transform production workflows. 

Take our Vision camera tracking system, for example. It ensures that virtual environments move in perfect synchronization with physical cameras, creating an immersive experience that was previously impossible without extensive post-production.
